What's happening on the farm?
April showers, bring May flowers
There's nothing like the scent of fresh Cherry blossoms in bloom at the beginning of Spring! We know the warmer weather is right around the corner when these beauties start putting on their gorgeous display!
May-June
May arrives just in time for some of the spring vegetables to take off! One of our favorite unique grows this year were the Dragon Tail Radishes! These awesome radishes can be used fresh in a salad for a little kick or cooked and used in Asian dishes. Both equally delicious!
July- October
Summer is in fill Swing! Tomatoes are growing, cucumbers are vining and the Luffa fibers are preparing to become sponges in the fall!
November -March
While very little is growing, there's still lots to do with harvesting the last of the butternut squash and any other vegetables that have survived the cool nights! Its time to get ready for Spring! Bees need extra food to sustain them in the winter, trees need fertilized and repairs need done. We're already dreaming of Spring and Summer days!
